School Break Passes available for students

Students now have the opportunity to purchase School Break Passes to the Lenexa Rec Center, so you can continue your fitness routines while you’re home on winter break. School Break Passes can be purchased anytime between now and Jan. 31, 2018 for use up to 30 days from the date of purchase. We will require you to show a valid student ID, and there is no limit to the number of School Break Passes you can purchase.

Dan Roh appointed to serve as Lenexa Council Member for Ward 3

During the Nov. 21 Lenexa City Council meeting, Dan Roh was appointed to fill the vacant Ward 3 City Council position. The position became vacant when Amy Slater, who served as a Ward 3 council member, stepped down from her position on Sept. 27, after serving for more than 18 years. Under Lenexa City Code, the mayor nominates a candidate to fill the unexpired term of a vacant seat. Roh will serve out the remaining two years of Slater’s term.
