A drinking establishment license is requires for any private club or drinking establishment in the city of Lenexa. Hours of operation for serving alcoholic beverages are from 9 a.m. to 1:30 a.m., Monday through Saturday. If your business has more than 30 percent in food sales, you may sell alcoholic beverages on Sundays.

How to apply for a city drinking establishment license
Bring your state license, a completed city business license application form and payment of the city drinking establishment license fee to City Hall. Upon approval, a city license will be issued for the period covered by your state license. State licenses are valid for two years from the date of issuance.
