In order to tow, remove or store motor vehicles at the request of the Lenexa Police Department, you must obtain a tow service provider license. Requirements for the license include proof of insurance (contact Customer Service for specific insurance requirements), tow lot approval by the Police Department and a notarized Tow Service Provider Authorization Indemnification Agreement.
To apply for a license
To obtain a tow service provider license, complete the license forms and applications, which are available from the Department of Community Development at City Hall.
