Our standard of excellence

The Lenexa Fire Department has been awarded Accredited Agency Status by the Commission on Fire Accreditation International.

Every five years the Lenexa Fire Department participates in a formal planning process to provide focus and clarity in our pursuit of excellence. In November 2015, the department invited external stakeholders to provide information and influence in regards to community priorities and expectations, areas of concern, positive feedback, and other thoughts. The Lenexa Fire Department would like to formally thank the community members that participated in this important planning effort. For more details related to information acquired from our external stakeholders, please refer to the Strategic Plan Document.
