Tours and visits
The Lenexa Fire Department welcomes visitors to our facilities for station tours. Fire companies are also available to visit events such as block parties or corporate events on a case-by-case basis. (A typical event would include a visit by a fire company to a block party to allowing kids to see the truck.) Fire companies often attend corporate or organizational safety fairs as well, and can set up an exhibit under the right circumstances.

School services and presentations
The Lenexa Fire Department visits every elementary school in the city annually during Fire Prevention Week, and provides a safety course to each class. The Department is also available for other presentations to schools, preschools, daycares and other groups. To request a speaker to come to your school or group for a presentation on safety or fire careers, use the online Fire Speaker request form.
