Flat Rock Creek Park is a site where the Santa Fe Trail crossed Rock Creek and is known as the Rock Creek Camp Ground in some early travelers’ journals. The 10-acre park has a large natural area, a creek and a .4-mile walking/jogging trail


Flat Rock Creek Pool

At 247,000 gallons, Flat Rock Creek Pool is great for families looking for a fun day in the water. It has a zero-depth entry, on-deck and in-water shade structures, in-water benches, three 25-yard lap lanes and other interactive water features.

Flat Rock Creek Pool is generally open from Memorial Day through early -August each year.

  • Open swim hours: daily from noon to 8 p.m.

  • Admission: Free with pool pass; $5 for residents; $7 for non-residents.


Tennis courts

Tennis/pickleball courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis, unless they are previously reserved.

Playground

Often thought of as the kids' fort, this playground features ladder climbing, log stepping, fire pole, a slide, two tot swings and two regular swings. It is surrounded by shade trees so it can be a great getaway on a warm summer day with a creek trickling nearby. The playground surface is wood mulch.

Park hours: 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Parking: Parking lots available on east and west sides of Flat Rock Creek Pool.
