Policy manual

The policy manual is used to inform the City of Lenexa employees on the personnel policies and procedures. It is a supervisory guide for the consistent application of city policies in the daily management of employment practices. The policies and procedures contained in this document apply to all employees unless otherwise stated, with the exception of elected officials. Individual departments may establish additional policies or practices specific to their units based on operational needs, provided they are in conjunction with the policies stated hereafter. The policies and benefits referred to in this policy manual are intended to be ongoing. However, the City of Lenexa reserves the right to amend, modify or terminate these at any time.
