Pay A Ticket

If all violations charged on your traffic ticket have a specified fine amount, you may choose not to appear in court, but to pay fines and fees prior to your court date. If any violation charged on your traffic ticket specifies “Court,” you must appear in court on your Notice to Appear date. 

Online Payment 

A $1.50 transaction fee is charged on all online ticket payments. Fines and fees will be credited to your ticket after your payment is processed. You can have a receipt sent to you by email.  

To pay your ticket online, you acknowledge that:  

  • You are the defendant and that you are pleading guilty or no contest to the charges on your ticket. 

  • You will be found guilty of the charges. 

  • You are waiving your right to a trial. 

  • You are waiving your right to an attorney.

Phone Payment

A $2.50 transaction fee is charged on all phone ticket payments. Fines and fees will be credited to your ticket after your payment is processed.  The toll free number to call is 1.833.273.7449. If your ticket number starts with an E, use the number 3 when entering the ticket number.

To pay your ticket via phone, you acknowledge that:  

  • You are the defendant and that you are pleading guilty or no contest to the charges on your ticket. 

  • You will be found guilty of the charges. 

  • You are waiving your right to a trial. 

  • You are waiving your right to an attorney.

Pay by Mail 

On the back of your traffic ticket, circle your plea of guilty or no contest in the paragraph under Appearance, Plea of Guilty and Waiver. Make sure to sign and date the ticket. This traffic ticket must accompany your payment. 
 
Send a personal check or money order made payable to the City of Lenexa for the total due for fines plus court costs to:

Pay in Person  

You may pay in person at the Court Clerk’s Office. We accept cash, money order, personal check (with the account holder’s photo ID), and credit card (the account holder must be present with photo ID). The Court Clerk's Office is open Monday– Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

You may also leave payment in the 24-hour drop box located in the brick pillar to the left of the glass entry doors into the Municipal Court building.
