The Vision 2030 Steering Committee is a group of Lenexa residents who helped guide the community visioning process. Mayor Mike Boehm appointed Craig Denny and Mandy Stuke to lead a Steering Committee of 12 individuals (10 adult and two youth members) over several months.
The responsibilities of the Steering Committee included:
- overseeing the work of the Issue Based Task Forces
- reviewing and synthesizing the draft report
- presenting feedback to the Governing Body
- formally presenting the Vision 2030 Report, which laid out goals and strategies to help Lenexa be what the community envisions in 2030
