Oopy Goopy
May 30–June 2, 2017

9–11 a.m. / ages 4–7 / $60
Slime, dirt, oobleck and more! Join us at the Lenexa Community Center and get messy with some exciting science experiments, cooking, art and more! Please wear clothes you can get dirty in.


Adventure Awaits
June 5–9, 2017

8:30 a.m.–noon / ages 9–13 / $190
Visit KC Watersports to learn how to cable board, test your skills at Timber Ridge Adventure Center, and swing from the ropes at Ninja Warrior training.

STEAM Camp
June 12–16, 2017

8:30 a.m.–4 p.m. / ages 8–13 / $190
Bring your future engineers, architects, scientists and mathematicians to STEAM Camp! In the morning you will be creative problem solvers building air powered cars, straw roller coasters, marble run and more! The afternoon involves using LEGOs to build boats, bridges, cars and skyscrapers. You will explore endless possibilities of engineering with the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor.


Intro to STEAM Camp with LEGO
June 12–16, 2017

9 a.m.–noon / ages 5–7 / $145
Dig into engineering with big trucks, construction vehicles and super machines. Explore the engineering terms, concepts and vocabulary behind large-scale building machines. Build and learn about steamrollers, bulldozers, wrecking balls and tower cranes while playing with your favorite building system: LEGO!

Dancing with Princesses
June 19–23, 2017

8:30–10 a.m. / ages 3–6 / $60
Learn dances with pretend princess characters Monday through Thursday. On Friday from 9–11 a.m., enjoy a tea party and put on a performance for parents or grandparents! Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes.


Tumbling with Superheroes
June 19–23, 2017

8:30–10 a.m. / ages 3–6 / $60
Learn tumbling moves with pretend superheroes Monday through Thursday. On Friday from 9–11 a.m., kids will enjoy superhero snacks and put on a performance to show parents what they have worked on all week. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes.


Alternative Sports Camp
June 26–30, 2017

8:30 a.m.–noon / ages 8–12 / $90
Bring your friends and learn some non-traditional sports such as archery, karate, rock climbing and more! Take a trip to Title Boxing to learn the basics of boxing, and play a game field hockey with KC Stix!

Dancing Pop Stars
June 26–30, 2017

10 a.m.–noon / ages 7–12 / $90
Learn various pop star dances.


Children’s Theater Camp
July 10–14, 2017

10 a.m.–4 p.m. / ages 6–18 / $80
Participate in group auditions for “Alice in Wonderland.” Approximately 70 cast members and four youth directors will be chosen. Camp includes workshops, one dress rehearsal, two live performances, and extra activities provided by Lenexa Parks & Recreation. Bring a sack lunch daily. Four tickets to the show are included in the registration fee. Shows are on Friday, July 14, at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, July 15, at 3:00 p.m. Additional tickets are $5 each.

Pre-engineering with LEGO
July 24–28, 2017

9 a.m.–noon / ages 5–7 / $190
Save the world with LEGO superheroes! Build the hideouts and vehicles of your favorite caped crusaders and learn what makes them not only Super Heroes but Super Hero Engineers! An experienced Play-Well instructor guides young heroes as they design, build and save a city where ingenuity and imagination can solve any conflict.
