Apply to be an official judge for the Great Lenexa Barbeque Battle!
If you love barbeque, then judging at the Great Lenexa Barbeque Battle is as good as it gets. For consideration for the June 23, 2012 contest, register online by May 18.
If selected, we will send a confirmation letter by June 1, along with check-in times. If you are not selected, you will be placed on a wait list and contacted if/when judging positions become available.
Please note that alcoholic beverages and coolers are not allowed in the judging area, and pre-table assignments will not be provided. These rules are in effect to ensure consistent and fair judging throughout the contest.
Important dates to remember
May 18 – 5 p.m. deadline for judge applications
June 21 – Judges and table captains clinic, 6:30 p.m. at the Lenexa Community Center
June 23 – Great Lenexa Barbeque Battle, 11 a.m. at Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park
