The annual Lenexa Community Days Parade is a hometown tradition that draws thousands of spectators to Old Town Lenexa to celebrate Independence Day. The 2012 Community Days Parade will be held on Wednesday, July 4th.
Friends and family gather along the parade route to watch floats, bands, antique cars and more as they wind their way through the Old Town area beginning at 10 a.m. Entries are judged along the way, and awards are announced on the city’s website.
Join your friends and neighbors by entering the parade. Entries should be family friendly, patriotic and highlight Lenexa’s community spirit. Neighborhoods, civic groups, families and all types of community groups can get involved. Participation is free, but all entries must register online by June 25. View the parade rules.
