Animal Control employees

Our Animal Control Unit has three officers who respond to a variety of animal-related calls.

File a report

Call Animal Control at 913.477.7385 if:

  • Your pet is lost and you would like to file a lost pet report. We will ask for your name, address, phone number and a description of the animal.
  • You encounter a wild animal that is sick, injured or inside your home.

File an Animal Complaint

Report emergency and non-emergency issues related to animals.

Stray Animals

If you lost your pet or you found a stray dog, please call us to make a report. We do not respond to stray cat calls.
