Services related to building and construction, public construction projects, traffic operations, licensing, permits, property maintenance enforcement, planning and zoning.

Provides effective stewardship of public funds through the timely and efficient delivery of financial services to citizens, the business community and the City government.

Provides life and property safety protection, emergency medical services, and fire prevention outreach and training.

Provides advice and legal opinions to City officials and staff. Prosecutes violations of the City code.

Provides an accessible local forum for fair, efficient, professional and effective disposition of all matters within its jurisdiction.

Responsible for the maintenance of Lenexa's public infrastructure including street maintenance, street signs, traffic lights, building maintenance, stormwater maintenance, fleet maintenance, and snow and ice removal.

Enhances Lenexans' quality of life through parks, green spaces, recreational programs, festivals and amenities.

Provides all elements of law enforcement to the community.
