Dan Roh was appointed to serve as a Ward 3 council member in November 2017. He was elected in 2019 to serve another four-year term.

Council Member Roh has lived in Lenexa for more than 30 years. Roh had a 35-year career with Hallmark and retired in 2015. During his tenure at Hallmark, he held a variety of management and leadership roles, including Director of E-commerce for Digital Businesses and Leader of Consumer Service for the North America Group – Consumer Service Operations.

He is currently serving as an assistant to an adjunct professor for the University of Kansas, where he is teaching students about procurement and supplier management.

Roh earned his bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. He also earned an MBA in the Executive Fellows Program at Rockhurst University.

Roh has been engaged in numerous community activities, including the Learning Exchange Mentoring Program with the Kansas City, Missouri School District, the Institute of Industrial Engineering, Junior Achievement and managing Little League Baseball and Softball. He has served as a board member and president of the Oak Hill Homeowner’s Association in Lenexa.
