Survey shows residents satisfied with city services

Survey shows residents satisfied with city services
Posted on 01/26/2018

To help gauge satisfaction with the delivery of major services, the City of Lenexa surveys residents every other year. The survey, administered by ETC Institute, helps determine priorities for the community as part of our on‐going planning process.

The seven‐page survey was mailed to a random sample of households in Lenexa in November and December 2017. Our goal was to have 600 residents complete the survey and total participation was 813 residents, making the results statistically valid.

Overall, Lenexa results were outstanding. To give some perspective, Lenexa’s data is benchmarked against other cities in the Kansas City metro area and the United States. Here are just a few examples which show Lenexa’s impressive results. The data below shows the percentage of residents who indicated a satisfaction score of 4 or 5 on a 1 (low) to 5 (high) scale.
