Are you ready to squash the competition? Think you can beet all the others? Lettuce see if you have what it takes. Create a racecar from fresh produce to compete in this elimination-style tournament. The veggie cars will race down a 16-foot track, and the first to reach the finish line moves on to the next round.

Space will be provided on race day starting at 9 a.m. to construct your car if you have not done this in advance. Judging takes place at 10 a.m., and racing follows promptly afterwards until a winner is crowned.  

Awards will be given for the top three fastest cars, as well as for best decorated and best representation of the farmers market. Both the racing and decorating competitions will be divided into two age categories: 12 and Under, and 13 and Over.

Register in advance online to ensure your spot, or on the day of the race from 8 a.m. to 9:30 am, if space allows.
