Have a kid who’s a budding video game player? Or maybe you’re the avid gamer in your household? Test the limits of those hand-eye coordination and strategy skills by participating in our esports tournaments during January 2021 at the
Lenexa Rec Center.
Video game popularity is surging, and esports organizes competitive gaming with tournament structures and prizes. Lenexa Parks & Recreation has offered periodic esports tournaments since 2019 to bring kids, teens and adults together to socialize through video gaming.
The upcoming tournaments will be limited in size and spread throughout various birthday party rooms in the facility to allow for safe social distancing. Face masks will be required for all attendees.
