Lifeguard
Lifeguards are responsible for the overall daily operation of the City’s swimming pools including the supervision of pool patrons, maintaining training standards, daily pool maintenance and operational activities, and record keeping.
Starting pay rate: $10 an hour
Minimum age to apply: 15 years old

Camp counselor
Camp counselors are responsible for helping in developing, implementing and facilitating the Recreation Division’s summer camp program. The camp counselors will help initiate, lead and oversee various daily activities while actively engaged with children.
Starting pay range: $8.50 to $10.75 per hour
Minimum age to apply: 16 years old

Head camp counselor
Under the direction of the Camp Director and Assistant Camp Director, the Head Camp Counselor is responsible for helping in developing, implementing and facilitating Recreation Division’s summer camp program within a specific group. The Head Camp Counselor will help initiate, lead and oversee various daily activities.
Starting pay range: $10 to 12.50 per hour
Minimum age to apply: 18 years old
