What to know about Lenexa’s recreation events

What to know about Lenexa’s recreation events
Posted on 03/10/2021
Family sitting on truck tailgate at Movie in the ParkAre warmer temperatures and longer days giving you a case of spring fever? Pile on a year of navigating the COVID-19 pandemic, and we know people are extra eager for connection and activity in their lives. Below is an update on the status of Lenexa Parks & Recreation’s festivals and events for spring and early summer 2021.

As the “City of Festivals,” Lenexa prides itself on offering a wide range of family-friendly things to do, often at little or no cost. Like other communities over the last year, we’ve changed aspects of how we gather to help keep each other safe. Some events have been canceled to limit large crowds in close proximity, while others have been reimagined or gone virtual. We hope you’ll take a chance and try something new with us — whether it involves food, arts and culture or outdoor activity.
