
Beyond their booths at the Lenexa Farmers Market, some of our vendors’ businesses are open to the public. Go exploring this summer or fall. You can see where and how these dedicated folks grow, raise and make your favorite products.
Take a tour, learn something new and get your hands dirty!
- Sign up to participate in "Picking Sundays" for the annual grape harvest (September and early October).
- Visit the winery tasting room Monday–Friday from 10 a.m.–6 p.m., Saturday from 9:30 a.m.–6 p.m. and Sunday from noon–6 p.m.
- Visit the farm store Monday–Saturday from 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
- Visit on occasional Open Farm days, including Sunday, Sept. 12, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Visit the store Monday–Friday from 7 a.m.–5 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m.–3 p.m.
- Book a private session to learn how to roast coffee or make chocolate.
- Visit the farm Friday–Saturday from 10 a.m.–6 p.m. and Sunday from noon–6 p.m.
- Try delicious local honey flavors at the only honey-tasting bar in Kansas at their on-site store.
- Visit by appointment (closed until September for harvesting).
- Book a private tour or U Cut Lavender session (closed until September for harvesting).
Vendors who are participating in the Kaw Valley Farm Tour on Oct. 2–3 in Douglas County include Holy-Field Vineyard & Winery, JET Produce and Meats and Next to Nature Farm.
