Business Community Workshop set for Nov. 10
Lenexa’s Comprehensive Plan is a blueprint for the future that directs growth and development for the next 25 years. The City of Lenexa is creating a new Comprehensive Plan, and hearing from the business community will be an important part of this process.
Join us for this workshop geared to Lenexa‘s business community to introduce the planning process and gain insight about local concerns related to business and development. Business owners and operators, developers and other members of the business community are welcome. We encourage you to attend and share your feedback on issues such as development, redevelopment, land use, transportation and zoning.

The comprehensive plan is Lenexa’s official policy document for future growth and development. It includes overall principles and values for development, taking into account the many pieces of our built environment. It will provide policy direction related to land use changes, planning for capital improvements and directing our future growth. The process to create the new Comprehensive Plan started in summer 2021 and is expected to finish in late 2022.
