Need to escape the winter doldrums for a bit? Visit the City Hall art gallery to see what artists were inspired to create last year based on what they love about Lenexa.

We honored 15 local artists for their exceptional work as part of the seventh annual HeART of Lenexa Contest on Feb. 3, 2022. In total, they submitted 25 pieces of art in a variety of media for the juried competition.

All ages and levels of experience are represented, from seasoned artists to new artists who have never shown their art in a professional gallery before. First-place winners in each age category won cash prizes.

The HeART of Lenexa Contest is a program of the Lenexa Arts Council.
