**NOTE: Instead of opening in a new web browser tab, the PDF documents on this page are currently automatically downloading to desktop computers instead. Our website provider is working to resolve this issue. In the meantime, if you click on a document and nothing open, check your Downloads folder to see if the PDF has been saved there.**

Virtual Meetings

The Lenexa City Council continues conducting its meetings at 7 PM on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. Meetings are planned to be conducted in the City Hall Community Forum, 17101 W. 87th St. Pkwy.; however, due to the fluctuating circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, some meetings may need to be conducted remotely using Zoom, an online meeting tool. Notice will be sent to all subscribers of the City Council Agendas & Minutes. The Meeting Calendar on the city website will also have the most up-to-date information on meeting location.

Some Lenexa boards and commissions continue conducting meetings remotely using Zoom to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. For those meetings, board members, commission members and City staff will all participate in the meeting remotely. Members of the public may attend Zoom meetings virtually using the link and/or phone dial-in information provided in the Meetings Calendar section of the City’s website as well as on the specific meeting agenda itself. These boards and commissions will be prudent with the meeting time and consideration of agenda items.

As always, public comment on any agenda items can be submitted in advance. Public comments will be taken prior to the meeting and will be distributed to all members of the board or commission before the meeting. If a member of the public wishes to submit advance comment for an item, please email cityclerk@lenexa.com and reference the meeting body, meeting date and agenda item you on which you wish to comment. Please also include your name and address for the public record.

The directions for how to participate in a Zoom meeting will be posted on the City’s website (see green button below). Please be prepared to give your first name, last name, and address for the public record. Proper meeting decorum is expected of all in attendance at the meeting and anyone who fails to act properly may be removed from the meeting. The City reserves the right to discontinue a meeting if any improper behavior occurs which prevents the uninterrupted conduct of business.

Meeting agendas and the agenda packet are posted on this webpage. Scroll through by meeting.

Per Executive Order No. 20-52 masks are required to both enter and while inside City Hall. In an effort to follow social distancing guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic, seating in the Community Forum may be limited. Where we anticipate a large crowd, audio of the Planning Commission meeting will be broadcast in the lobby and chairs will be available for people to listen to the meeting. The Planning Commission will take brief recesses to allow people who want to speak about a particular item but may be listening to the meeting in the lobby to enter the Community Forum.
