Lenexa City Center

Our new downtown, first conceived in 1997 as part of Lenexa’s community-driven strategic plan, Vision 2020, is located at the intersection of 87th Street Parkway and Renner Boulevard adjacent to Interstate 435. Lenexa City Center is a new and exciting mixed-use neighborhood. Combining walkability, density, sustainability and community, Lenexa City Center offers a unique spin on urban living.

City Center Neighborhood Design Guidelines

Incorporating approximately 200 acres divided into four quadrants, this commercial and residential hub will encompass nearly 3 million feet of space at build-out. The site takes cues from the country's greatest urban neighborhoods and blends them with amenities found here in the Heartland. Work has been ongoing for the past several years, so check out the map below to see some of the things happening at our new downtown!
