Fire Safety Education Resources

The Lenexa Fire Department visits every preschool and elementary school classroom possible during Fire Safety Month every October.  We also have videos and resources available for teachers and families to use as part of their fire safety education in the classroom and at home. This information is suited for children in grades kindergarten through sixth grade.

We welcome visitors to our facilities for fire station tours. We also are available to attend block parties and corporate events and to make fire safety presentations on a case-by-case basis.

Vial of Life Medical Information Form

The Vial of Life Project provides a system to store your medical history and have it accessible for emergency personnel, particularly if you are unconscious or unable to communicate.

Youth Fire Intervention Program

This educational program is for children who have set fires, played with fire, or show a concerning curiosity of fire. It is an opportunity for youth to see the lasting impacts their actions can have on themselves, their family and the community.
