This year's Theater on the Trail will be a community theater event involving local volunteer actors. The play is "Twain's Tales," based on short stories of Mark Twain, adapted by David Taylor London and directed by Jason Coats.

The performance will be held on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022, from 2–5 p.m. at Black Hoof Park, 9053 Monticello Rd. Admission is free.

Attendees will meet at the Oak Shelter and walk as a group to the location of the first scene of the play. After the first scene, attendees will pack up their belongings, and the volunteer cast will guide the walk to the next scene, and so on.

What to bring and wear:
Attendees should wear comfortable shoes and clothes and be prepared to walk about two miles at a leisurely pace. Be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket and bottled water/ snacks.
