Enjoy a summer of fun during Lenexa's full-day, licensed summer camp in 2022. 

Your child will make lasting memories at our day camp, which is jam-packed with age-appropriate exciting indoor and outdoor games, team building, contests and hands-on challenges and projects designed for their skill level. Each week includes multiple swimming trips and a field trip. Our camp is for school-age children (must have completed kindergarten) up to age 13.  


Dates: Weekly sessions run June 6–July 29, 2022. You can enroll your child in one week or all the weeks. Pick what works for your schedule. To view weekly themes, visit our registration webpage

Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Ages: Children who have completed kindergarten through age 13. 

Fees: Camp fees are charged on a biweekly basis.

Forms: All camper forms must have the required forms completed and submitted via email to Sarah Hirst, [email protected], no later than 7 p.m. on Jan. 26, 2022. Please see below for a list of necessary forms. 

Camp staff: Our summer camps are led by high school and college staff who are age 16 and older. They are friendly, patient, fun and energetic, and they are trained for a minimum of 30 hours in topics including group control, positive discipline, safety and first aid.

Registration information

How to register

Summer camp registration opened at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022, and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Enrollment typically fills within minutes. Online registration is highly recommended. For assistance with enrollment or to register over the phone call 913.477.7100.

Payment Options

  • Payment plan: Everyone is defaulted to the payment plan at the time of registration. Payment for your child's first week at camp is due at the time of registration, as well as a $10 deposit for all additional weeks your child(ren) is enrolled. All remaining fees will default to the payment plan dates that correspond to your child’s remaining weeks. Please see the 2022 Summer Camp Fee Schedule & Policy for details, located in the forms and document section below. 
  • Pay in full option: Once you have registered for camp and would like to pay in full, contact Sarah Hirst, [email protected]


Forms and documents

Returning campers

If your child(ren) attended our summer camps in 2020 and you successfully enroll your child(ren) into summer 2021 and no information regarding your child(ren) and family has changed, ie. address, phone numbers, health insurance, etc., you must submit the following forms via email to Sarah Hirst, [email protected], no later than 7 p.m. on Jan. 26, 2022. Failing to do so will forfeit your child(ren)'s spot in summer camp.

  • AquaClimb Rock Wall Permission Form

New campers

If your child(ren) have not attended our summer camp before, you must complete the following forms and submit them via email to Sarah Hirst, [email protected], no later than 7 p.m. on Jan. 26, 2022. Failing to do so will forfeit your child(ren)'s spot in summer camp:

  • Child Health History From (2 pages) 

  • Authorization for Emergency Medical Care

  • Release and Waiver of Liability

  • Diving Board Permission Form

  • AquaClimb Rock Wall Permission Form

Medication

If your child(ren) require medication administration during camp hours, please complete the appropriate form(s)

  • Self-Medication Administration: this form is required for with Epi-Pens and/or Inhalers

  • Short-Term Medication: this form is required for an antibiotic, ibuprofen, etc.

  • Long-Term Medication: this form is required for daily allergy, ADD/ADHD medication, etc.
