Join us for a day of disc golf festivities to launch Lenexa’s brand-new Black Hoof Disc Golf Course, featuring both 18-hole and 9-hole courses. The championship-level 10,000-foot-long timber course is laid into 80 acres of rugged terrain. It includes multiple teepads and basket locations for a wide range of users. The shorter 9-hole course is a family-friendly option.
-
The morning kicks off with a free beginner instructional lesson where you can learn the basics of the sport.
-
Then watch some of the biggest arms in the Kansas City area demonstrate how far they can throw during our distance exhibition.
-
A disc golf tournament for registered participants takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
-
All ages can try out a variety of free mini games throughout the day.
Volunteer Opportunities
All tournament entry fees and additional donations go directly to the Lenexa Parks & Recreation Scholarship Program, which makes recreation memberships and programs more affordable for Lenexa residents with a demonstrated financial need.
