Cedar Station Park Plan

Cedar Station Park is a 74-acre park located on the east and west side of Canyon Creek Boulevard just north of K-10. Many residents refer to this park as Mize Lake. The park currently has a fishing lake with a great trail system.

Over the past five years, this area has grown tremendously. The City of Lenexa is currently designing additional amenities to add to the park to meet the needs of the surrounding residential development. The new amenities will be located on the east side of Canyon Creek Boulevard and the northwest corner of the existing lake.

New features planned for the park include:

Small shelter
Playground
Restrooms
ADA-compliant trail connections to all amenities and existing trail system

Project timeline

The City of Lenexa is currently in the design portion of this project. The future construction is currently on hold without an estimated start date.

The timing for the future construction of this park will be heavily dictated by the private development to the north. The park entrance is planned to come off of Zarda Drive, which will likely not be constructed until this private development begins construction.
