Project Description

Cedar Station Park is a 74-acre park located on the east and west side of Canyon Creek Boulevard just north of K-10. Many residents refer to this park as Mize Lake. The park currently has a fishing lake with a great trail system.

The City of Lenexa plans to add amenities to the park to meet the needs of the surrounding residential development. The new amenities will be located on the east side of Canyon Creek Boulevard and the northwest corner of the existing lake.

New features planned for the park include:

  • Parking lot
  • Small shelter
  • Playground
  • Restrooms
  • ADA-compliant trail connections to all amenities and existing trail system
