art hanging in Lenexa City Hall art galleryThe 29th annual Lenexa Artists' Show honored the work of 35 artists from our community this week. This popular juried exhibit celebrates the deep well of creative talent here in Lenexa.

The 2020 show features 62 pieces of 2D and 3D art in the first and second floor gallery spaces at Lenexa City Hall. Nine of the exhibit’s artists are participating for the first time, and two have been in the show for 20 or more years.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the awards ceremony was held virtually on Aug. 27. The event included musical performances, a tour of the City Hall art gallery, and a video of the exhibit’s artists and their submissions.
