Other reasons to enlist a workout buddy
Beyond the discounted membership, there are other benefits to exercising with a friend:
- It’s more fun. You’re less likely to get bored when bonding with a workout pal.
- You’ll feel more motivated. When you and your buddy encourage each other, you’ll push harder and get better results.
- You’ll be more adventurous. It’s easier to try new things with a friend, and two people have a wider array of options than a solo workout.
- You’re more likely to stay consistent. When someone else is counting on you to show up, you won’t want to let them down.
