Lenexans love to come together for lively community events — especially related to food, culture and outdoor activity. That’s why we’re known as the “City of Festivals”! But due to the COVID-19 public health crisis, we’re changing how we gather right now in order to help keep each other safe.

The City of Lenexa prides itself on offering a wide range of family-friendly things to do, often at little or no cost. Below is an update on the status of many popular festivals and events that were originally planned for the next few months. Some have been canceled to limit large crowds in close proximity, while several have been reimagined for this time of social distancing.

We hope you’ll take a chance and try something new with us this summer.

Check Lenexa.com/festivals to find out the status of other upcoming events.
