Getting Ready for a Fruitful Market Season

Getting Ready for a Fruitful Market Season

More than 20,000 people visited the Lenexa Farmers Market during our community-filledfirst year in 2018. The Market featured more than 30 local vendors, the work of six artists and 12 musicians, and was supported by 10 sponsors. Your purchases had a ripple effect: boosting our local economy, supporting jobs, and strengthening the local food system.

As we enter our second season, we're continuing our commitment to serving as a truly local farmers market by only allowing products sourced within 250 miles of Lenexa. You'll spot many new faces and products in addition to some of your favorite returning vendors. We've kept features you've loved — like music on Saturday mornings and artist of the week — and made changes based on your feedback — like adjusting our Tuesday hours.

We are excited to plant the seeds for continued growth and change this year.

Help make the market even better

Have a business you think would thrive at our market on Lenexa’s civic campus? Like to perform music or share your passion for fine arts? Know a company that would like to engage with our shoppers? We are currently seeking vendors, musicians and artists, plus there are also
sponsorship opportunities available.

All vendor products sold at our Farmers Market must be farm-grown or crafted by the vendor (no mass-produced resale items) within 250 miles.

Musical entertainment acts are paid and must be able to perform a two-hour set.

Featured artists are juried and must be located within 250 miles, and all items sold must be handmade by artist.

Stay up to date

What's available early in the season?

Check out our guide below to find out what you can find at the Lenexa Farmers Market during April and May. Remember, because all products at the market must be grown, raised or made within 250 miles of Lenexa, products are available on a seasonal basis.
