The Lenexa Old Town Activity Center, Lenexa Public Market and Lenexa Rec Center will close early on Dec. 31. Legler Barn Museum is closed Dec. 31. Most City facilities are closed Jan. 1, but Lenexa Rec Center will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Join us as 84 Lumber welcomes the 2025 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree to Lenexa on its cross-country journey to Washington, D.C. Lenexa Mayor Julie Sayers and other dignitaries will celebrate the season and honor our nation’s veterans.
Everyone is invited to share this joyful national tradition. Traveling from the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest in Nevada to the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, the “People’s Tree” will bring holiday cheer to Lenexa.
