Food Vendor Opportunities
We offer quality food choices at many of our community festivals and special events hosted by Lenexa Parks & Recreation. There is a cost for vendors to participate in these events.
The number of food vendors we allow at each event varies based on the event’s attendance and space availability. We select vendors to ensure there is a variety of food options available. Previous food vendors are given right of first refusal when returning.
For larger events, vendors are selected up to a year in advance. For smaller events, vendors are generally selected several months in advance.
To be considered as a food vendor for a Parks & Recreation event, please fill out an interest form below. You will need photos of your food truck, trailer or booth space and a menu with pricing to fill out the form.

Lenexa Chili Challenge
- Vendor cost: $115
- 6 food vendors
Lenexa Spinach Festival
- Vendor cost: $115 (discount available if spinach items served)
- 13 food vendors
Lenexa Art Fair
- Vendor cost: $115
- 6 food trucks
Single-vendor events
Occasionally, we work with a single food vendor at the following events: Enchanted Forest, outdoor concerts, Sar-Ko Aglow, and Movies in the Park.
