Lenexa residents can dispose of bulky items at our Dumpster Days events, which are each held two weekends each year. We also offer two free Document Shredding events annually to help residents securely get rid of sensitive documents.
You will be asked to show proof of residency, such as a driver’s license or utility bill showing a current Lenexa address.

The Service Center is located across from Mill Creek Elementary School, between Lackman Road and Pflumm Road, with access from 79th Street.

Johnson County Household Hazardous Waste Collection and Reuse Facility
Olathe Hazardous Waste Disposal Facility (open to all Johnson County residents)
We charge fees to cover recycling, disposal and transportation costs. We collect these fees at the gate entrance of the drop-off facility. You can pay with cash, check (write driver’s license number on the check) or credit card (Visa, MasterCard and Discover) each time you use the service.
