Northbound Lackman Road traffic currently backs up over 700 feet to 105th Street during peak hours. The right-turn lane will add additional capacity and reduce delays at the intersection. The project has been selected for KDOT Safety Funds due to the numerous accidents at the intersection.
Construct a northbound right-turn lane at the I-435 entrance ramp. The project will construct a 12 feet wide turn lane approximately 320 feet long.
