Most of the City of Lenexa’s sport courts are available to use on a first-come, first-served basis during regular park hours unless a city-sponsored program is scheduled. This includes basketball courts, disc golf courses, horseshoes, pickleball/tennis courts, Rolling Magic Skate Park, roller hockey rink and sand volleyball courts.
For a fee, you can rent the roller hockey rink at Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park and the pickleball/tennis courts at four different parks.

Rental policy
- Rentals for the current year can be made beginning the first business day in January. They must be made in person at the Lenexa Rec Center, 17201 W. 87th St. Pkwy., 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. You will be asked to show a photo ID, sign a rental agreement, and pay applicable fees.
- Once address and contact information is verified, courts may be reserved online.
- Rentals must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
- Rentals are for small-group play. Private tournaments, leagues, and fundraising events, etc. are prohibited.

The resident rate applies to residents and businesses who pay Lenexa property taxes. If you would like to qualify for the resident rate, please bring a valid driver’s license or a photo ID and current utility bill in your name.

Rental policy
- Court rentals are open to Lenexa residents only.
- Rentals must be made at least 24 hours in advance and no more than 90 days out.
- Rentals are limited to five hours per week per household (Sunday–Saturday).
- Courts 1, 2, 7 and 8 may be reserved daily between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. except for Mondays and Wednesdays between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., which is designated open play.
- Courts 3, 4, 5 and 6 are always designated open play.
- Rentals are for small-group play. Private tournaments, leagues, and fundraising events, etc. are prohibited.
