Each spring and fall, the Lenexa Police Department hosts a free women’s self-defense workshop at the Lenexa Justice Center, open to the public.
Designed for females ages 15 and older, this workshop provides a safe, supportive environment to learn practical self-defense techniques and personal safety strategies through discussion and hands-on practice. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing.
We plan to offer this class again later this year, though a date has not yet been set. Please check back for future registration updates. Interested in arranging a session for your group? Our staff can host a workshop at your location or at the Justice Center. For more information, please contact Master Police Officer Danny Chavez.
