What to expect at Lenexa Farmers Market in 2025
Published on March 18, 2025
The countdown is on as we prepare to kick off the Lenexa Farmers Market’s eighth season at the end of April. We’re bringing back your favorites and vetting new vendors to add to the vibrant mix. The City of Lenexa is proud to operate one of the metro area’s truly local farmers markets. We remain committed to selling only products that are grown, raised or made within 250 miles or throughout Kansas. (Not every area market requires this.)
You’ll find a great selection of products, including baked goods, beverages, dairy, fruits and vegetables, pantry staples, meat, plants and flowers, ready-to-eat foods, body care products and gifts. Many of our vendors use pesticide-free practices when growing their produce. Some farmers have gone through the Certified Naturally Grown process. Its standards are based on the highest ideals of the organic movement.
Season schedule
Visit us once or twice a week on Lenexa’s bustling civic campus this season:
- Saturdays: April 26–Oct. 25, 2025, 8 a.m. to noon
- Tuesdays: May 27–Aug. 26, 2025, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Make a morning of it! You’ll enjoy the live music and featured artists while shopping at the Market, but there’s lots more to do before or after that. Squeeze in a workout at the Lenexa Rec Center, pick up your holds from the Lenexa City Center Library, explore the latest exhibits in the City Hall Art Gallery, grab a meal at the Lenexa Public Market, or visit other City Center neighborhood businesses.
