2025 CDBG Street Lighting Project Project number: N/A Closed February 17, 2026, 02:00 PM This project will replace the existing street lighting along Candlelight Lane, Widmer Road, Park Street, Summit Street, and 89th Terrace with energy efficient LED fixtures and new aluminum light poles. The new LED street lights will continue to be maintained by the City and will provide reduced operating and maintenance costs due to their lower energy consumption and longer life spans. Lenexa Recreation Center Improvements Project number: 77001 Closing date April 14, 2026, 09:00 AM This project will enhance the facility by adding acoustic separation to minimize noise between childcare and public areas, improving comfort and productivity. It will also add an emergency exit to meet life-safety standards and comply with modern building and childcare codes.
