Land Disturbance Permit

A land disturbance permit allows you to begin moving material (soil, rock, clearing and grubbing, etc.) and accounts for the erosion control necessary on your site.

  • You may not perform any other type of work with this permit.
  • If you are constructing a sanitary sewer main, you must have a land disturbance permit to accompany your Johnson County Wastewater permit.

Typical plan set requirements include:

  • Title sheet
  • Site layout sheet, including existing vegetation
  • Grading plan
  • Stormwater management plan
  • Land disturbance plan, including tree/vegetation preservation plan
  • Land disturbance notes and details.
