The Lenexa Senior Center in Old Town hosts a wide variety of drop-in activities and recreation programs geared toward senior citizens. This facility also features event rental space.

During 2024, we are consolidating the Senior Center and Community Center into a single building, Old Town Activity Center, that better serves the needs of users, the neighborhood and the community. Learn more

Win prizes provided by area sponsors. Must register in advance at 913.477.7100 no more than one week prior.  Free admission.

No bridge held on the second Wednesday of the month. Cost is $0.50

Lunch

Johnson County Nutrition Services provides hot lunch meals at 11:30 a.m. weekdays at the Lenexa Senior Center. If you are 60 or older, call 913.888.6141 between 9 and 10 a.m., the day before to request your meal. Suggested donation is $4.

Meals are planned to meet the dietary needs of older adults. Menus change monthly

Meals may be canceled if road or weather conditions are hazardous. Cancellations will be reported to local radio and television stations by 9 a.m. 

Movie Mondays

Call 913.477.7100 for movie titles. Popcorn and beverages provided. Free admission.

Optional meal available from Johnson County Nutrition Services. Reserve by calling 913.888.6141 between 9 and 11 a.m. at least 24 hours in advance. Meal begins at 11:30 a.m. Suggested donation is $4.
