If you are constructing city infrastructure projects such as public storm systems, public streets and curbs, turn lanes, or street lights, you will need a public improvement permit. Public improvement permits are often required with building permits.

Public improvement permits are a separate and complete plan set that must be approved before you are issued your building permit. For residential developments, the public infrastructure must be substantially complete before you are issued a building permit.
