Developer, Designer, Contractor & Builder - Code Update Meeting

The City of Lenexa is preparing updates to the International Code Council (ICC) suite of building and safety codes. Please join us to learn about changes in the codes and the process for potential adoption.

During this meeting, City staff will present the following:

• Development activity review.
• Proposed adoption of the 2024 International Code Council codes.
• Upcoming technology changes. 

For information about notable changes and amendments, review the Building Code Board of Appeals meeting packet from July 21, 2025(PDF, 1MB).

Please submit any questions, concerns or comments about these changes by Friday, Sept. 12, 2025.
