City offices and Lenexa Old Town Activity Center are closed Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day. Legler Barn Museum & Depot, Lenexa Old Town Activity Center and Lenexa Rec Center are closed Saturday, July 4. Other facilities have adjusted hours.
Pitch Lenexa is proud to host three community events celebrating the global soccer tournament coming to Kansas City this summer. The watch parties will take place in the heart of Lenexa City Center, nestled in the green space between The District Shops, Restaurant Row, Saints Pub + Patio and Martin City Brewing Co. — just two blocks southeast of the Lenexa Public Market.
FIFA World Cup 2026™ match highlighted: USA vs. Paraguay Gates open: 5 p.m. Match begins: 8 p.m.
Watch parties will conclude following each match broadcast.

Free public parking is available within the Kiewit parking garage which is adjacent to the watch parties on the south side of Penrose Lane. Lots open one hour before gates open.
All other parking garages in City Center are not considered event parking.
This initiative is designed to bring people together, introduce the broader Kansas City community to Lenexa, and celebrate one of the world’s most iconic sporting events in an unforgettable way. Pitch Lenexa is a coalition of dozens of Lenexa-based organizations, including the City of Lenexa, to showcase and celebrate Lenexa as a vibrant, welcoming and dynamic city during this once-in-a-generation competition taking place in America.
