Join us for a reception on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Lenexa City Hall Art Gallery.
Through his lens and digital artistry, Brian Divelbiss transforms water into landscapes of reflection—light layered on liquid, textures shaped by currents, stillness punctuated by motion. Each piece invites the viewer to slow down and observe water as both subject and metaphor: a mirror, a pulse, a story always in motion.
This collection is less about place than it is about presence. The images ask us to pause and consider what lies beneath the surface—what shifts, what reflects and what reveals itself in the quiet rhythm of flowing water.
Mark Thorson’s ceramic work brings a tactile dimension to the exhibition. His sculptural forms echo the organic movement and fluid energy found in nature, translating those rhythms into clay. Through shape, surface and balance, Thorson’s pieces explore the relationship between material, motion and the subtle forces that shape the world around us.
