Join us for Hands on History: Savoring the Spinach Festival to learn some of the most popular recipes sold at the Lenexa Spinach Festival. Explore the history, vintage photos and origins of the Festival.

During this presentation, attendees will get a literal taste of history by sampling one of the Lenexa Historical Society’s most popular festival foods. Take some home or gobble them up on the spot! 

Spinach Balls will be sold at Lenexa Historical Society booth at the Spinach Festival as a fundraiser for their new projects.

About the series

This Hands on History heritage program will give you a better understanding of some of Lenexa’s longest running traditions. From recipe demonstrations to hands-on ways to keep you engaged, participants will hardly know they're learning! Participants can also share their own favorite festival memories and traditions during an interactive Q&A.
